There are six orifice sizes in the mist cooling industry for custom misting system applications such as mist fans, mist curtains, turbo-cool mist blowers and fog/mist effects. This gives a lot of flexibility to deliver the proper amount of mist for any application in any type of environment.
- #0 Nozzle Tip - The .003”/.1mm nozzle is the smallest nozzle orifice available and great for high humidity environments. This nozzle is ideal for applications requiring extremely low flow with small droplet size, minimal moisture, and complete evaporation. The nozzle should only be used at pressure levels greater than 800 PSI.
- #1 Nozzle Tip - The .006”/.15mm nozzle is great for high humidity environments. It is used for applications requiring extremely low flow with small droplet size, minimal moisture, and complete evaporation. The nozzle should not be used at pressure levels below 500 PSI.
- #2 Nozzle Tip - The .008”/.2mm nozzle is ideal for applications requiring less flow with small droplet size, minimal moisture, and complete evaporation. The nozzle should be not used at pressure levels below 250 PSI.
- #3 Nozzle Tip - The .012”/.3mm nozzle is the most common used with mid-pressure cooling systems (180 - 240 PSI). This is the size used on insect mist systems as well. It is most used outdoors with complete evaporation at lesser humidity levels.
- #4 Nozzle Tip - The .016”/.4mm nozzle is primarily used for outdoor applications requiring extreme flow with less of a need for complete evaporation.
- #5 Nozzle Tip - The .020”/.5mm nozzle is primarily used for outdoor applications requiring extreme flow with less of a need for complete evaporation such as fog/mist effects.
